Percent export of DSi (extra export relative to total imported DSi during inflow) from the Tielrode (freshwater, Belgium) and Carmel Polder (saltwater, France) wetlands in relation to the inundating DSi concentration (linear regressions for Tielrode: F 1,4 = 144, r2=0.97, p < 0.001; and Carmel Polder F 1,4 = 5.61, r2= 0.58, p = 0.08).
