Prof. Patricia Rodríguez works as a researcher at the National Council of Science in Argentina (CONICET) and Professor at the University of Tierra del Fuego. She is a biologist (Universidad de Buenos Aires) with experience in studies of both lotic and lentic aquatic systems. Most of her research is on the field of the limnology, mainly focused on ecology and primary production of aquatic communities with particular interest in periphyton and phytoplankton.
Aquatic carbon metabolism in Humic lakes and beaver impacted water bodies and streams from Tierra del Fuego (Argentina) are currently her area of research.
