Changliang Shao is a professor at Institute of Agricultural Resources and Regional Planning, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Beijing, China. He has (co-)authored 100 scientific articles, books, special issues and patents. His research covers several ecological frontiers, including ecosystem carbon/water/energy fluxes, global change, extreme climatic events, hydrometeorology, grassland restoration, life cycle assessments. He is a principal investigators (PI) in USCCC, ChinaFLUX and FluxNET.
