Dr. Matteo Convertino is an Associate Professor in the Graduate School of Information Science and Technology at Hokkaido University, Sapporo, Japan. He is the Director of the Complexity Group within the Information Communication Networks Lab in the Division of Frontier Science & Media and Network Technologies. Additionally Dr. Convertino is a faculty member of the Gi-CoRE Station for Big Data & Cybersecurity and in the Department of Electronics and Information Engineering at Hokkaido University. Dr. Convertino's expertise is in complexity science focused on theoretical and computational advancements of information, network, and decision theory applied to biological, ecological, and socio-technological systems.
